Returns/Refund Policy
Definitions
Return: Product is returned to the seller. Once received, a credit is issued in form of a voucher, credit note or gift card.
Refund: Customer is refunded for any reason in full or in part.
Replace or Refund
All purchases from Laneway Design Studio are covered by Australian Consumer Law.
Laneway Design Studio is not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind.
But you can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem. This is when the item:
has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it.
is unsafe
is significantly different from the sample or description
doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed.
If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time, you can choose a refund or replacement.
Please keep your proof of purchase.
Return of Online Purchases
Your payment must have been received.
The returned item must be in our possession within 14 days of the date you received it.
Shipping, handling charges and insurance cost are non-refundable.
Customers are responsible for return shipping expenses.
Returned items must be in the original condition, not used or altered. Upon return, your merchandise will be inspected.
Customers must request a return authorisation prior to returning. Unauthorised returns cannot be accepted. Please fill in our Request for Return/Exchange Form in order to receive your authorisation.
Abuse of our return policy will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to refuse full refunds for excessive returns by a customer.
Once we receive the returned products, we will issue your refund within 7 working days.
Customised items cannot be refunded for change of mind.
All items must be opened and checked by the customer within 24 hours of receipt otherwise we cannot be liable for damage incurred during transit.
